Today the children made some 'new friends' with a small group of residents who visited us from Mandeville House Assisted Living Apartments next door to our Nursery.
This afternoons session was an Introductory 'Let's get to know each other' session.
It was a huge success and throughly enjoyed by both parties. The children showed their 'new friends' around our Nursery and Garden Area.
Mike played in the Home Corner with the children and enjoyed a cup of tea!
Several of the girls danced for the ladies.
we plan to repeat it on a Thursday afternoon on a regular basis.

Today Arlene and Mike visited us and we all made Stained Glass Angels for Christmas.
It was a messy activity with lots of cutting and sticking.
The Angels looked amazing although one child decided to glue the stained glass to his own face "I can see blue" he declared!

Due to the Covid19 Pandemic we haven't been able to link up with our friends from Mandeville Court but they plan to revisit when they feel they are safe enough to return. The children and staff miss them terribly.
